GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 3:Harvesting
After 55-60 days, when the plant develops strong stems and new shoots, passion fruit is ready for harvest.
Harvest method: Select ripe fruits with deep-colored skin and use scissors or a knife to cut the stem, avoiding damage to the vine.
With proper care, the plant will continue to flower and bear fruit, allowing for multiple harvests throughout the season.
Scatter the seeds evenly on the soil surface, then cover them with a thin layer of soil (0.5 cm) to prevent drying out.
If sowing in rows, maintain a 10-15 cm gap between plants to allow for better growth.
Watering: Water gently 1-2 times a day to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.
Fertilization: After 10-15 days, apply organic fertilizer or diluted NPK fertilizer to promote strong stem growth and early flowering.
STEP 2: Sowing and care
STEP 1: Sow seeds
Prepare the soil: Choose loose, nutrient-rich, well-draining soil such as light clay, organic soil, or sandy soil. Remove weeds, loosen the soil, and mix in organic fertilizer or decomposed manure to improve fertility.
Seed treatment: Soak the seeds in warm water (2 parts boiling water + 3 parts cold water) for 4-6 hours. Then, wrap them in a damp cloth and let them sit for 6-8 hours until they start to sprout. This speeds up germination.
